Victoria Goodwin, the wife of "Ghost Adventures" star Aaron Goodwin, was arrested last week on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

The arrest came after authorities uncovered an alleged plot to have her husband assassinated, according to a police report from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The investigation began in October when Florida corrections officers seized a contraband phone belonging to inmate Grant Amato, who is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder. Text and Facebook messages on the device revealed communications between Amato and Victoria Goodwin that suggested a romantic involvement and plans to arrange Aaron Goodwin's murder.
According to the police report, Victoria Goodwin, 32, and Amato, 35, discussed setting aside $11,515 to hire a hitman on October 2. They also exchanged information about Aaron Goodwin's whereabouts and vehicle details5. In one message, Victoria allegedly wrote, "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce".
The plot was discovered when Florida officials alerted Nevada authorities on March 4 about the alleged conspiracy. Victoria Goodwin was arrested and questioned two days later. During interrogation, she admitted to marital problems but denied wanting to kill her husband. She claimed to remember only some of the messages exchanged with Amato.
Aaron Goodwin, 48, has been a star of "Ghost Adventures" since 2008. The popular paranormal investigation series aired on the Travel Channel for 19 seasons before moving to Discovery+.
Despite the alleged murder plot, the couple had recently shared affectionate social media posts. On February 14, Victoria posted a Valentine's Day selfie with Aaron, who commented lovingly on the photo.
Victoria Goodwin is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center on $100,000 bail. As of now, no attorney is listed for her in jail records.
The case has shocked fans of the popular TV show and raised questions about the couple's relationship, which appeared loving on social media just weeks before the arrest.
