The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, South Korea’s premier event honoring outstanding achievements in television, film, and theatre, took place on April 5, 2025.
The Netflix drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines" emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing the Best Drama award along with several other key honors.
Despite starring Park Bo Gum and IU, who both received multiple nominations, the lead actors missed out on individual acting awards.
Nevertheless, the series dominated with wins for Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.
In the film category, the historical action movie "Harbin," led by Hyun Bin, won Best Film, while "Revolver" earned accolades for Best Director and Best Actress.
Jo Jung Suk took home Best Actor for his role in "Pilot." The ceremony highlighted the breadth of talent and creativity in South Korea’s entertainment industry.
