Controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have returned to Romania after spending several weeks in the United States.

The brothers, who face serious allegations including human trafficking, forming an organized crime group, and sexual exploitation of women, are under judicial control in Romania.
Their return comes ahead of a mandatory check-in with Romanian authorities scheduled for Monday.
Andrew Tate announced their return on social media, stating, “Innocent men don’t run. They clear their name in court,” while revealing he had spent $185,000 on a private jet for the trip.
The brothers had traveled to Florida after Romanian prosecutors lifted a travel ban imposed during the ongoing investigation. While in the U.S., Florida’s Attorney General James Uthmeier opened a separate criminal investigation against them, which was welcomed by advocacy groups representing alleged victims.
Romanian prosecutors accuse the Tates of luring women to Romania under false pretenses and subjecting them to sexual exploitation. Andrew Tate also faces additional charges of rape. Both brothers deny all allegations, claiming they are victims of unjust persecution.
The return to Romania follows mounting legal challenges for the brothers, including a British arrest warrant for alleged sexual aggression between 2012 and 2015. Extradition proceedings are expected after the Romanian trial concludes.
Outside their Bucharest residence, Andrew Tate reiterated their intent to prove their innocence: “We deserve our day in court.” Despite the legal turmoil, the brothers remain under judicial supervision and are required to check in with authorities every 30 days.
Their case continues to attract global attention due to its complexity and high-profile nature.
