Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has unveiled a vast underground missile facility, dubbed the "Missile City," housing thousands of precision-guided ballistic missiles.
This revelation, broadcast on Iranian state television, marks a significant escalation in Iran's show of military strength amid ongoing tensions with the United States.
The newly revealed underground complex reportedly houses an array of advanced ballistic missiles, including the Khaybar Shekan, Haj Qasem, Emad, Sejjil, and the Paveh cruise missile.

Iran's military leadership has been quick to emphasize the strategic importance of this development. The Chief of Staff declared that Iran's military capabilities have grown exponentially, asserting that the country's pace of advancement far outpaces its adversaries' ability to compensate for their weaknesses. He confidently stated that the enemy will "remain behind in the balance of power".
This unveiling comes at a critical juncture in U.S.-Iran relations. Despite the show of force, U.S. intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard recently stated that Iran is not actively pursuing nuclear weapons and that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has not ordered the activation of a nuclear weapons program.
Concurrently, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Tehran's commitment to diplomacy, emphasizing that Iran's actions are based on national interests rather than U.S. pressure.
The timing of this revelation is particularly noteworthy, as it follows U.S. President Donald Trump's previous attempts to initiate talks through a letter sent via a UAE envoy.
